OUR STORY

My name is Helen Cooper. As the artist behind MetalRose, my inspiration comes from the unique way I experience the world around me.  My brain is wired a little differently: I am dyslexic and ambidextrous. This means that I see patterns and make connections that are hidden to most people. Art has always been a way for me to use my hands in order to express what my brain feels, and hopefully help people understand how I process my experience of the universe.

Part of my creative journey is seeking new opportunities to combine science with art. This manifests as a love for engineering, metallurgy and chemistry.

My philosophy is that things should be functional, beautiful, and tell a story.

I created MetalRose as a gateway for all the stories I wish to tell.
